L. M. ERICSSON's Gravesite

This is a picture of the grave of Lars Magnus Ericsson in the Botkyrka Cemetery (Plot Number F44) in Stockholm, Sweden.

The picture was brought back by Society Treasurer John Nichols after his recent trip to Sweden (and other parts). The picture shows John and friends at the gravesite.

The following details are from our Swedish member, Henrik Lundin.

Lars Magnus Ericsson said that he came into the world without anything and he was going to do the same when he died. Therefore there is no name or identification of any type on this huge gravesite.

This is a perpetual site, which is not the case with sites today in Sweden. Nowadays, a site can only exist for 25 years with a possible 5 year extension.

Lars Magnus was married to Hilda Carolina and they had 4 children two of whom are buried with their parents. Lars and Hilda's third child, Anna, had 10 children, 4 of whom are buried with their grandparents.
