Type 8 MT The Ericsson AC400 MT , like the later Type 12, was intended as a
replacement for the Skeletal Ericsson. It proved durable and reasonably popular
and purchases continued for some years until it was superseded by bakelite phones
like the 162. In most cases the Ericsson transfer was replaced with a simple Australian Post Office logo
